Take a Word Challenge - Fly

Credits:  Pic is mine of neighbor's Dogwood this year, hummingbird is adobe stock,
overlays from 2lil owls

Words and Poems

My words hover over the paper
like hummingbirds
too skittish to land.
Words won't be gulled
by red sugar water.
A poem must feed
on the clear nectar of the heart
to find its way to the page.

-Beryl Dov

As always, thanks for stopping by :)

So beautiful. The dogwood flowers are exquisite and your placement of the hummingbird is a superb touch. (Love the verse too).
